Individual
Ever feel like doing
something different? Well anyone who is looking to join a
non-competitive race or want to show case their work then visit these
websites. While participating in something new, you will also be
making a difference in someone life. You could either help others
learn about preventing domestic violence or funding for a young
artist. Either way someone life is impacted. There are many different
people around us and by participating in one of these you stand-out.
You stand-out because you are going out of the norm to run a race if
you have never done it or to submit a personal story. In both of
these you can experience something new such as a rush for running in
the 5-K or submitting a story or artwork. In Mudderella, we see
women standing up and knowing their strength while in Teen Ink, we
see young teenagers shining through their works. In both of theses
cases, we see groups that are normally put down either by gender or
age. We are given two different types of website that gear to our
senses and our appeals through their colors, words and page layout. I
choose these websites because of the connection I can make with them
and the colors of the background. I was able to choose them through
past experience on visiting the site and advertisement on the 5-K.
Mudderella
The purpose of the website is to attract women to join this
run to show that women are strong and can take pride in their strength. This
race is created by women and are helping to fund-raise futures without
violence. This cause to end domestic violence and living with healthy
relationships. Any women who is looking for something fun and do not really
want to compete with anyone then this is the race. By having this race be
create by women you could understand the reason to why the fundraiser is to
help with domestic violence and that women should not belittle themselves.
Although the fundraiser for domestic violence, it does not just deals with
domestic violence against women but also against men and children. By dealing
all genders and ages many can benefit from this. Besides being in a fun and
non-competitive event you could change someone life. They sell a few sets of
clothing, water bottles, and hats that promote the logo and the logo say at
lot. On the logo you see a woman with her arms by her side showing that is
strong. Volunteering is an option for those who wish to make a difference
and work the race. Others can volunteer by raising money for the fundraiser. This
race is on Instagram YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. By doing this
many women can find out and participate in the event. The website is purple and
gray with tons of pictures of women enjoy themselves even if they are covered
in mud. Through the picture and the logos, we can get a sense of “I can do it”
feeling. It motivates us to want to sign-up and try. There is also a video that
shows the beginning of the race, people getting ready and snippiest of the
overall race. There is also interviews with participants and their thoughts on
this experience. The creators of this website are talking to their audience in
a way that invites them in using pictures and videos. There is also a sense of
inspiration by say if you could do one thing then you could join this event.
There are four main squares in the center that allow us get involved such as
the Instagram picture. This picture allows you to follow the event or see
picture from others who have done this event. There is a tab that has a blog
and a mini inspirations from others, all over the world with their picture by
their comments. After seeing an advertisement on Facebook, I decided to look
more into the website. I love how its main colors are just purple and gray.
These colors are so over powering one another but working together. Seeing the
video caused me to want to join even more. Just by being able to see picture
and a blog using any device, allows me to see the picture whenever. One of the
main reasons why I choose this website is because I hope and plan to participle
in this event.

Teen InkThe purpose of this site is promote to teens to ride by providing a top seller book with descriptions next to each book. Also it allows teenagers to upload stories, pictures, and art. You could also find a teen magazine on this site. The teenagers are the ones who write the description about the books and most of the articles are created by teens. The only thing this website sells is a subscription to their site and the magazines. There is no common issue but anyone can post their problems or issues they are experiencing. The site supports The Young Authors Foundation which helps provides teenagers with an opportunity to share their stories and reach thousands of schools with its monthly print magazines. The logo is pretty much just T.I. which represents the title. Although there is no pictures on the back ground, the main colors are yellow and blue. Blue is the main color of the background and although it is simple it does not distract the viewers from the books and the arts. On the very top there is a blackboard which allows you to go to the different tabs in that website. The way the links are arrange draws you in as a student and a teenager. It appeals to us because you can write your own stories and submit it. The way we are drawn is by showing pictures and books that we can read. The pictures are uploaded by teenagers and some are even their own personal drawings. Anyone can join in by submitting their input and it is easy to use. On the top-right corner you can click on their Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and YouTube page which can allow you to share in difference places besides their page and they are promoting their website. This website draws me in by allowing me to read snippets on new book and learn about others through their stories. I enjoy using this website because I can get a brief descriptions about the books and I know most people like to know something about book before reading the book. As I was navigating the website I came across some interesting art week by the teens and also there is a top tab for finding summer camps or colleges. Joining or participating in this shows each person different personalities through their works. Any teen who has any artwork or writing may not even know how great they are if they do not submit it. A benefit to submitting is the fact that you may enjoy writing or drawing for others to see. This site may also inspire others to write, draw, or read more. For me this site has given me materials to read just by browsing the comments or the title itself. In other words this site can give new readers interesting materials to read. Teen ink is the site for teenagers to be themselves and share their talents with others . They can inspire others to share and read more.

If you want to try something new then
these websites are for you. Run a 5-K or submit your masterpiece. A
simple design can cause a person to take interest, such as the back
ground color of a website. Every website maker takes in mind ways
that can attract viewers and that is what was looked at through the
two website. Both of the websites had simple background colors but
the layout was different. The way that their material was presented
is what determined how convincing their website is. For me both of
the website were very convincing and caused me to visit every tab on
each of the sites. Although I can relate to these websites, I am
still drawn to them by their use of persuasion and layout of their
site. I can use these two site as a template when I make my website
that draws viewers in just like a social network.
